Two women on their own continuous adventure, set out to inspire and document it here.

Fun at Fort Funston

Fun at Fort Funston

The new year started for us in a fancy, crazy, haphazard way. Within the first minute we danced to drums and the Spazmactics at the New Years Party in Union Square with friends, who now and hereafter, will always be in our future adventures. That very same day we moved into our first apartment in the city, which has turned out to be beautiful and amazing with unique charm nestled into corners of the city one just seems to stumble upon. An indescribable energy peeps into our brightly lit studio every morning, and as the gate to our door shuts behind us, we sense the adventure that awaits us in such a characteristic place. We are energized with the high-priced organic foods and the depressing parking tickets! It's always alive, thus, we want to stay awake with it.

It's "winter" here in San Francisco, so the rainy season has been in effect. Though damp and grey, the landscape is thankful for it, thus awarding us with green fields and blooming trees. Though the forecast projected rain yet again this weekend, we decided to take Boo to Fort Funston, which turned out to be so beautiful, that one who has never been to Ireland, would think they are on the very cliff slides of that country. It was stunning. The beach is a short drive from our home, and people and dogs run its stretch without inhibition. And, its apparently one of the best spots to hang glide in the country! As we watched hang gliders hoover over the cliffs,  a passion in Jamie grew to now take lessons (no surprise there!) This area is amazing and we will be spending a lot more time here. Boo would hate us if we didn't! She is still sleeping from the amount of running she did.
