Halloween, Queen B Style

Happy Halloween!

We celebrated as much as we do every year - watching spooky movies, carving pumpkins, enjoying pumpkin beer, and of course, costumes! While usually we collaborate, this year we went with our deeper desires. For Jamie, that was to be Beyonce for the night. Now which Beyonce you may ask… Formation! For me, to wear the elegant dress from the movie Ghost Breakers I had watched growing up. We meticulously pieced together our outfits, and I must say, we nailed it!

On Halloween night we went aboard a cruise boat to celebrate. For three hours we glided along the bay, passing under the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge. The moon and the fog glided above and beside us, and the city sat beyond as a beacon home.

That same weekend we went into Half Moon Bay, the pumpkin capital of the U.S., and there we walked around with Boo. We discovered Fall tucked amongst the trees, and a barrel of pumpkin spice taffy outside a candy store. It was beautiful weather, and an incredible time to wander, wonder, and embrace the veil of All-Hallows Eve. Where anything is possible, and it is possible to be anything.
