A Cinematic Halloween

A Cinematic Halloween

I am not sure that Jamie and I will ever forfeit the option to dress as movie characters, and do a legit photo shoot to then insert into movie posters. It is now a creative mission, to assemble outfits that can be re-purposed, and to see what can be done with them. This year, Jamie took the military dress of Cruella (Emma Stone version) and Lemon adopted the Dalmatian persona. As for me, what came first? The dress, or inspiration to be Katrina Van Tassel? It all happened so quickly, I cannot remember.

Outside of Halloween weekend, we did many other traditions. We went to Arata Farm Hay Maze and did a record 3min 30sec race to the exit - and with no flash lights! Our friends sadly still are haunted by the Minotaur statue that they kept circling back to. We did Nights of Jack with cousin Meredith, and spent the weekend with the Zicht family which consisted of donuts, Young Frankenstein, Ruby love, and apple pies.

As Halloween came to a close, we carved our pumpkins and went down the dark abyss which is birthed from John Carpenter’s Halloween series. We saw Halloween drag, where Jamie then almost won best costume (she lost to Cat Woman - a noble loss). We had such an amazing Halloween, it is odd to think Christmas is fast on our heels.
