A Boo Kind of Day

A Boo Kind of Day

Marin Headlands- Rodeo Lagoon Trail

A day trip took us over the Golden Gate Bridge to Marin Headlands, a place of gorgeous rolling hills and low hanging mist. It was a Sunday, and we have come to discover that Sundays have turned into Boo-days, where all activities revolve around dog-friendly beaches, trails, cafes, and parks. While the drive took us through winding, steep hills that looked like torture to the many cyclists and runners, the path we hiked was a short and flat loop. However, it brought us to a rewarding view of the Pacific, and there we played with the wind and crashing waves. Boo-days are our days to fetch not just rocks and sticks; they are pure and simple. Nature is bare, naked, and amusing. In one day every week, Boo shows us the fun of sniffing, running, and rolling. And the Marin Headlands supplied all the views and supplies for a day with Boo.

Our busy projects and work, as so many others, take up so much of our time. Having one day a week dedicated to our family, we can embrace so many things we are thankful for. While your family may look very different than ours, we recommend everyone take a step back and determine what a Sunday turns into for you.
