Christmas By the Bay

Our first christmas in California! We've been met so far with rain, warm afternoon winds, chilly mornings, more rain, and a city of light! In San Francisco there were countless tree lighting celebrations, and we delighted ourselves by attending the Ghiradelli Square event, where carolers sang under cascading fake snow as we ate the cute square samples that one can always rely on at Ghiradelli Square. In Union Square, we spent the day ice skating and walking around the shops. But, for the exciting tree selecting, we stuck to the east bay, where properly cut trees sat in a beautiful landscape of rolling hills. Though all of our Christmas decorations are still boxed up in Ohio, we were able to trim the 7ft tree with dollar-tree sparkley goodness! 

Every night has been filled with lights, candles, and christmas movies! The Bay is a magical place around Christmas and we're so happy to be experiencing all its holiday cheer.
