Two women on their own continuous adventure, set out to inspire and document it here.

Inyo with a Touch of Yosemite

Inyo with a Touch of Yosemite

We will not bombard you with a false reality, or that California, specifically San Francisco,  is for everyone. It's a crazy, hustlin' and bustlin' place, with no parking and with a ridiculous cost of living.  But it is definitely our kind of crazy, as it all walks hand in hand with the ambitious, the breath-taking nature, and one's dream-driven purpose. It has strength in its beautiful surrounding landscape, that offers adventure with rest, and peace with fiery enthusiasm.

We stole away from the city one weekend, to camp in the Inyo National Forest and see a small speck of Yosemite. We met up with a group of people, including Kathy's awesome brother, Scott, and hiked through the inspiring trails of the West.  The views and grandeur of the drive alone through Yosemite was enough to fill our hearts. Yosemite is as large and stunning as you see it in pictures, and the paths around Mammoth Lake make you feel as if the whole of the world is before you! A steady gust of frost and flakes of snow managed to find us as we hiked, and neighboring snow-capped mountains stretched as far as our eyes could reach.

...it is the steady accumulation, through natural selection, of such differences, when beneficial to the individual, that gives rise to all the more important modifications of structure, by which the innumerable beings on the face of this earth are enabled to struggle with each other, and the best adapted to survive.
— Darwin

I see this quote as an inspiring thought--that the opposing forces of city and nature that surround our dear San Francisco will produce within us, (that is, if we survive living here!), a more fortified ability to survive whatever the future may bring. So whatever is in store for you, adapt, but more importantly welcome it. You may be surprised in your own potential.
