Two women on their own continuous adventure, set out to inspire and document it here.

Call of the Wizarding World

Call of the Wizarding World

We hear the cry, the eager adventure, like a siren from Los Angeles. Jamie and I flock from San Francisco, notifying our crew of a weekend rendezvous. We assemble with Emily and Alex, and wait for the musketeer triad to be completed as Scott beams up from San Diego. This weekend began with the desire to answer the call issued from the colorful imagination of Harry Potter world, and it quickly became much, much more!

We fine dined in L.A. at a restaurant in West Hollywood, celebrating the engagement of Jamie's cousins who happily joined the now quartet. Afterwards we went into "the hills" for a house party that was so beautiful, modern and open, it even served hostess cakes with charm. Here we met up with Chad and Jack, of whom we are always so lucky to meet up with in our L.A. trips! The next day we went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, where Scott, Gabby, Emily, Jamie and I spent the day doing exactly as one would in Harry Potter World:  drinking obscene amounts of butterbeer and riding the castle ride over, and over again! It was Gabby's first roller coaster experience, and Emily even discovered a roller coaster in Jurassic Park that rivaled the Iron Dragon in Cedar Point. We ate doughnuts, hotdogs, and fish and chips. In the afternoon we rested at the Hogs head, drinking yet again a frozen butterbeer.

Our weekend was 1.5 days, and like any musketeer, every hour was treated all for one, and one for all! Though the little time we had, our friends and family in So Cal make every second worth the trip. We've become quite a fablous tight knit crew. And as Jamie and I sit in our apartment in San Francisco, we can hear the gentle bells of the HP theme song slowly calling us back.
